Happy Monday! I feel so much better this week! A week of rest, relaxation and self-care was certainly needed and so helpful. I actually feel ready for the week ahead–for the first time in quite awhile.
Why is that we, as moms, often let ourselves get so run down? I seem to be constantly on the go until I wear myself out to the point of exhaustion. My to-do list becomes more important than my physical and mental health. This has to stop!
This week I challenge you to take some time for yourself. Go to bed early. Take a nap. Read a book while drinking a cup of tea (or wine…). Have coffee with a friend. Pray. Watch a movie with your spouse. What will you do? Let me know!
Last Week’s Goals:
Faith:
1. Read Philemon and Hebrews 1-2
Professional:
2. Write my SMART Goal and submit to my administrator
Family/ Homemaking:
3. Have an in-house date night with my husband (We got take out Chinese and watched a couple of episodes of shows that we love!)
4. Play a game as a family (We all played Candyland together. I also taught my six-year-old son how to play Yahtzee. He loved it, and we played many times!)
