I’m pretty excited, guys. This coming Saturday I’m running my first 5K! Back in January I set my Goals for 2015, one of which was to run a 5K this year. That was quite a stretch for me considering I hadn’t run more than a mile in a LONG time.
But, after a couple of months of running, I’m feeling ready. I’ll be sure to update you on Saturday with some pictures 🙂 If you aren’t following me already, you’re welcome to follow my Facebook page to see more details of my life as well as daily posts
I had a slight hiccup on my goals last week due to illness, but I’m feeling better and ready to go for this coming week.

Jamie @ Medium Sized Family says
Awesome goals! How exciting to be running a 5K! I’ve tried running a few times and I can never quite make it work for me. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not really a runner or because I have trouble making it a priority. (Both?)
Have a great week!

Thanks, Jamie. I’m excited to see how it goes! It’s finally cooled down here in Virginia, so today’s run (at 58 degrees) was by far the most pleasant one yet. I’m curious if my new running habit will stick after the 5K is finished. Maybe I’ll have to find a new goal.
