I used to be a blog junkie. I loved reading multiple blogs and regularly spent an hour or more a day on my habit.
These days, I am more selective about the blogs that I follow. I only read blogs that encourage me or, sometimes, challenge me. These are blogs that add something to my life: interesting ideas, practical tips, or recommendations. They also tend to be by bloggers whom I feel a connection with.
With that said, today I wanted to share:
The Only 6 Blogs That I Follow
Modern Mrs. Darcy
Type of Blog: Book/ Lifestyle
Post Frequency: 5 times a week
Why I Follow It: Anne gives the absolute best book recommendations! Seriously 3/4 of my “Books to Read” list comes from this website. Anne’s descriptions of books are completely spot on. If I like her description of the book, I know that I will love the book itself. She also has a podcast called “What Should I Read Next” that is great!

Laura Vanderkam
Type of Blog: Time Management
Post Frequency: 4-5 times a week
Why I Follow It: I really enjoyed Laura Vanderkam’s books 168 Hours: You Have More Time Than You Think and I Know How She Does It. Her novel ideas about time management, intentional living, and planning your weekends intrigue me. The blog extends out Vanderkam’s ideas found in the books and gives insight into how she incorporates those principles into her own personal and family life.
