I don’t know about you, but I am always on the lookout for easy ways to save money. Don’t get me wrong, I am totally willing to put in hard work in order to save and earn extra money. However, if I can save money with minimal effort, so much the better!
Over the years, I have found a few things that will save me money without requiring me to spend much time on them. Today I wanted to share my secrets with you!
4 Super Easy Ways to Save Money Every Day
1. Ebates
Do you ever buy anything online? I thought so! If you make purchases on line, you really need to sign up for Ebates. Ebates is a cash-back site. Here’s what you do:
-sign up for an Ebates account
-go to the Ebates website before you make an online purchase
-Search for the store you want to shop at (ex. Amazon, Target, etc.) in the Ebates search bar
-Ebates directs you to their site and gives you a percentage of cash back from your purchase.
That’s it! I have earned over $150 over the last year from Ebates. It is totally legit, simple, and has a high payout! For more detailed information, as well as my step-by-step plan for earning more from your Ebates account, check out my post on Earning Money with Ebates.
2. Ibotta App
I have just gotten started with the Ibotta app, but I am already excited about it. It basically replaces all of those paper coupons that you used to carry around with you. Ibotta will give you a rebate for purchases that you make at the grocery store. Here’s how it works:
-Sign up for the Ibotta app (it’s free!)
-Look through their hundreds of items they are offering rebates for (they have a search bar that can help speed up the process)
-Purchase the items at your regular grocery store on your regular shopping trip
-Use the app to scan the barcodes of items and submit a photo of your receipt
-Receive your rebate!
Plus, if you sign up through this link and give the referral code: vsvuqdq –you will get $10 automatically added to your account!
3. Grocery University
Grocery University is an audiocourse taught by Crystal Paine from Money Saving Mom that will help you save hundreds on your grocery bill. Seriously. Crystal walks you through the entire process so that you can become a more frugal shopper, meal planner, and coupon master. The Grocery University costs less than $10, which you will probably make back the first week you implement the teachings!
When our grocery budget was extremely tight (try $35 a week for a family of three!), I was able to feed my family well by using the tips from Grocery University. Even today, years later, my meal-planning approach is heavily influenced by this course.
4. Amazon Prime
Finally, I love my Amazon Prime! We save a TON of money each year through the free shipping, free kindle downloads, free streaming music, and instant videos. If you are a numbers nerd like me, take a look at my article, Is Amazon Prime Really Worth It? If you click HERE, you can get a FREE 30 Day Trial.
By using all of these services, I am able to easily save money every day. And that’s more money that we can put toward savings, paying off debt, and our other long-term financial goals. Totally worth it!
(By the way, these are all products that I absolutely love and use regularly. I would never share with you something that I am not so excited about that I wouldn’t (or already haven’t!) share with my best friend or mom. The links are affiliate links, which means that if you click through and purchase a product or service, I will receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thank you for supporting The Orthodox Mama!)

I agree, Karina! I was skeptical of it for years–even after hearing bloggers I respected rave about it. Once I started I wished I had much earlier!
